Passion, hard work and dedication are the foundation of Melanie Robb Consulting Company. During her 20 years in the recruiting and consulting business, Melanie has earned the reputation of being a “bulldog” – working tirelessly to achieve her goals and assist those around her to do the same.
She has provided recruiting, training and retention consulting to nearly every industry, including Technology, Finance, Real Estate, Construction and Health Care, from consulting on internship programs to succession planning for C-Suite executives.
Prior to starting Melanie Robb Consulting Company, Melanie was the Managing Director of an executive search firm for seven years, focusing on recruiting and management consulting in the real estate, construction and finance fields. During her tenure, she recruited and placed over 100 senior executives with top organizations across the country while guiding management through succession planning and organizational chart refinement.
Previously, Melanie was the recruiting operations leader at a well-established Pittsburgh recruitment firm serving the health care industry. There, she led recruiting efforts for health care providers and the service firms catering to those providers.
Melanie began her career as a recruiter with the Pittsburgh Technology Council. She assisted over 1,800 member firms in their recruitment needs for top-tier management and technical professionals within the technology industry, with a focus on interns and young talent retainment programs. Upon leaving the Council, she served as a recruiter for two start-up companies during the dot.com boom and later worked as a recruiter at an international staffing and recruiting company serving financial institutions and Fortune 500 firms with headquarters and/or regional operations in Western Pennsylvania.

Melanie earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics, graduating cum laude from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Va.
A Western Pennsylvania native, Melanie currently resides in the South Side Slopes neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
